Industrial Vacuum Pumps Operating Principles
Industrial Vacuum Pumps Operating Principles
Industrial Vacuum pumps use a variety of technologies to create suction and remove air molecules (and other gases) from a vacuum chamber. The most common method of creating vacuum is a positive displacement mechanism. Positive Displacement Pumps work by mechanically trapping a volume of gas and moving it through the pump positive displacement pumps. As chambers pressure is reduced, the vacuum pump must work harder to reduce further molecules of air that remain. This is why it is important to have a correctly sized vacuum pump that will provide the right level of vacuum with the correct volume flow.
